Track car, which will you pick?
I track my m3 but i just love it too much, want to keep it off the track and get something down to the track. Which you will pick ? To me s2000 seems the best track car on the list.

S2000, hands down if we're sticking to your list.

E36 m3 would be my choice, but out of the ones on your list, I'd go with the S2k.

I'd vote for an E36 M3 as well, but S2000 out of 'your' list. If you haven't driven an E36 M3 I'd give it a whirl before passing on it.

E36 is my recommendation as well. Every issue with that car is documented and there is a well written DIY with pictures for most all repairs and maintenance issues as well online.

I track my E36 M3 way more than my E92. It's raw, light, and has beautifully balanced handling. I've bought it new in 1999, and has done 4-5 track weekends yearly since. I'm fanatical about routine maintenance, but the car has been bullet-proof. No major repairs in >150K miles.

In the same price category I would have to say a 6spd e46 M3. If I had to pick one of the three you have listed, certainly the S2K

You don't give a budget.
But of the cars I've driven odds have to say Elise. Of the cars I've ridden Caterham rx00. Replace x with 3 4 or 5 depending on how big your balls are. Sequential box optional. P.s. or this....v8 in a caterham..... Haha http://www.pistonheads.com/classifie...nte-v8/2544943 Edit : it is supercharged 550bhp in a 520kg car. Double hahahaha Edit 2: with a 10,500 rpm redline and sequential box. Cue Maniacal laugh Last edited by crypticc; 08-15-2015 at 06:04 PM.. |
