Mixing 35/40 profile tires

Anyone see any problems with having 245/40 on front and 265/35 on the rear?

usually there wouldn't be much problem associated with it. Maybe a slightly less accurate speedometer, and slightly different tread wearing, but nothing to be concerned about. Why are you considering this? Just Curious!

Speedo depends on the rear tire size. It'll be fine it's just the front sidewall will be larger and look a little funny.

I'm thinking of getting a set of Vrederstein Utrac Sessantas for my track/autox wheels. I have a set of 18" stock OEMs currently with PS2 245/40 and 265/40.
The Vreds only have 265s in 35. They have 245 in 40 but not in 30,35.
So I'm looking at 245/40 front and 265/35 rear.

I could go 275/35 and 255/35 for matching profiles.

Which would be better, stay with stock 265/245 balance or go a little wider 275/255 and same profile?

Did you mean 245/40 275/35?

Any reason why you would pick mixed profile 245/40, 275/35 over 255/35,275/35?

Go with the 255/40. You won't notice the difference. It's just 10 mm difference.
