Canadian drivers are clueless about the left lane rule because it doesn't really exist here, so when Canadians (not including me) go down to the states, this sort of stupidity happens. Seen it a billion times and the locals get extremely frustrated.

I guess it is just BC then.. problem is that the ICBC licensing examination does not emphasize the left lane as the passing/fast lane. Here, there are as many slow cars on the left than on the right... whichever lane is empty is the passing lane
