replaced the spring for the gas cap cover around 60k

replaced the right and left angel eyes (not headlights) somewhere around 70k.

. . . and that's about it (or at least that I can remember now).

Pretty impressive. You've got almost double my mileage too. What's next for you?

Up to 106,592 with nothing but scheduled maintenance! Oil consumption is still stable at 1 quart every 7,000 miles.

50K on mine so far:
both primary O2 sensors
EGR problem
Low fuel pressure sensor
Just recently: That is not under warrenty
Throttle actuator
NAV dead. Needs new CCC

However it has been a lot less trouble than my E46 M

Sounds like a lot of little things. My E46 M3 had nothing in 5 years of ownership. I was shocked.

O2 sensors seem about right. My X5 at 60000 miles just went. My M3 hasn't needed them yet but my old Z4MC needed a new 02 sensor at 20000 miles due to living right on the beach with heavy salt and smog in the air.

Why so many issues? Do you just not take care of your cars or did these just fail on their own? Just wondering btw.

Nothing right now on my M3. Dealer just did a thorough inspection on Friday and no issues. They had it up on the lift and I was back in the bay looking myself with flashlights with 2 master techs.

Only BS I had with E92 M3 ownership was I ran over a wheel weight last week and had to buy a new tire. lol

Hello all my e90 M3 has 87k and is still running perfect also... my first post on this board first bmw btw.. bought used with 80k on the clock and drive it very spirit.. no rattles just nice and quiet inside the cabin and just a blast to drive! the only car I can compare it to is my old ae86 corolla that I owned for alil over a decade and its been refreshed to the moon and back just a blast to track.... but no comparison to the m3 for comfort and power and handling on track or street! I absolutely cannot think of driving anything better then this car period... its a dream come true owning and driving my M3 everday...

I'm pretty sure you can get it from EasyCare after your factory warranty has expired, you just need a comprehensive inspection done to prove you have no "pre-existing conditions". I was still under factory warranty, and they still required the inspection, actually.

I think I got a bit of a deal on mine, so you may need to negotiate price with your local EasyCare seller (mine was at a Mazda dealer, actually).

EasyCare recommends that you use the BMW dealer for repairs, they just have to be approved by EasyCare beforehand. Indy shops are also allowed, but the paperwork suggests the OEM dealer.

Like I've said, the price was good, I've heard good things, but have no personal experience (yet) with a claim.

Amen. And welcome!

I was at Motorsport Ranch this past weekend, passing pretty much everything in my group with ease (only mods are StopTech Street Perf pads and high temp fluid). The car was bulletproof - I did have a valve stem issue that made me miss two sessions, unfortunately. Just flogged the car for two days at the track, and then drove 5 hours home in this 'bahn-burner.

Incredible machine. If any of you haven't taken yours to the track yet, you've just got to do it...

02/08 Build 6MT currently ~ 68K miles
I bought it with 58k miles and supercharged it at 58k miles. I replaced all 02 sensors at 65K miles and replaced the fuel pressure sensor and idle control device at 67K miles. The car still runs great at 68k miles. I plan on getting coated rod bearings soon as a preventive maintenance for the supercharger. All these blown engines are starting to scare me.

Year: 2008 - Don't know what month

Miles: 40,xxx

No tracking, usually drive slow.

Issues: Before I had the vehicle (pre 30k miles), something had gone wrong with AC unit. It was repaired twice from what I understand. I have the service reports. This issue has not resurfaced since I've owned the vehicle.

The other issue since I've owned it is the usual "Increased Emissions" warning. I've had to replace the O2 sensor (or whatever they do to fix this). It has failed twice in 10k miles. If you do a quick search, you can read all about it.

No issues other than that increased emissions thing. My car never goes into limp mode when this happens. I just get the warning light. More of an annoyance since I have to take it into the stealership.

Other than scheduled oil changes and maintenance, I haven't done anything to the car. It is bone stock. I don't even have tint.
