Tire shop sanded my wheels (on purpose)

Great customer service. Reaon 1,746 why HRE can't be compared with other so-called high end makes. I'll be sure to buy a set of HRE at some point.

The shop name should be exposed.

This isn't even their issue, but awesome to see a company stand like that behind their products. I think HRE will be getting some more customers. I'm certainly sold...

Since looking at aftermarket wheels, its been a big back and forth for me between HRE and DPE. Guess who just won... Wow...

I don't think there's a real pressing need to name the offending shop.

I'm sure HRE would have corrected them about their techniques by now to prevent any such problems again in future.

If they are such a huge HRE dealer then they would wanna change their methods to continue being one.

Everyone makes mistakes and we can only hope to learn from them.

Unreal. You are not only saving the customer but more importantly you are helping this shop save face by not getting them called out. That being said I would still like the OP to call out the shop. SAVE OTHER ENTHUSIAST the same fate and a worse fate when the manufacturer won't come sailing in to the rescue.

Huge props to HRE here!

Slightly OT but I had a loosely related issue with a tire shop up in Long Beach. The damaged my brand new RAC wheels AND brakes and beat on them with tools that should never have touched the hats (rotor hats). Since they wanted to be total a-holes about it I took them to small claims court and won. Shop was Performance Plus on Cherry Ave in Long Beach. Link. Steer clear of these guys.
