You couldn't be more incorrect. Its very high quality and if you research Remus they are very legit with tons of street cred building custom and OEM systems for AMG, Porsche exc

Best Exhaust

I have been running my Akra slip-on now for almost two years and have heard most of the other systems and continue to put Akra as #1 for build quality and great sound that is easy to live with... Numerous people that have heard my car on track definitely provided a Thumbs UP.. If I wasn't concerned with emissions testing or check-engine lights, I would have the EVO system, but just for sound, the slip-on is the way to go IMHO....GOOD Luck...PS: I believe you can specify the Carbon Tips if you want black. I think I have also seen the entire Akrapovic system finished in black...

REMUS M.I.G. and/or T.I.G. welds on their stainless steel products aren’t always the “prettiest,” as they are almost all done robotically with CNC equipped welding rigs. But the fact is that when they incorporated their robotic welders, they found that their weld fracture and failure warranty claims dropped dramatically from when they were hand welding much larger quantities their products.

With robotic welding they can program the penetration and the amount of rod in each weld and thus the welds may appear more bulky and not as “pretty,” but their strength is significantly enhanced. As a huge O.E.M. supplier to some of Germany’s best auto factories, these are built and welded to an O.E.M. specification.

I've also ordered an Akra Slip-On because of the same reasons you mentioned. Here in Germany it's even more complicated. I've ordered the carbon tips. The system should be here within 3 weeks. I hate it that it takes so long

Yea personal preference for sure. I like the m performance one. It definitely louder than stock, but not super loud. Most jacked up pickup trucks have louder exhausts then me, but it's enough to turn heads to see what is driving by

The m performance is nice because it is easy to install and goes under factory warranty, and drops a few pounds. But provides no actual performance enhancements. It's just visual and audio improvements.

If you get the evo with a tune that cancels the cold start it really isn't much louder in the cabin, and deep and bassy if you stand behind the car. If you step on it it really sings, but still toned down from a full race exhaust. I think its the best power making exhaust that you can live with....but occasionally i'd like something just a tad louder.

I've had the GT2, Eisy Sport & current set up is Eisy Sport with Challenge Sport pipes. The last setup is by far the best.

IMO, GT2 sounded & looked great but was was a bit too loud w/o any power gains, Eisy Sport alone was too quiet for my tastes & the Eisy Sport w/Challenge Sport pipes is just right. It has the gains & sound w/o going over the top. Doesn't sound tinny & doesn't stink like some of the catless & 100 cell cat options.

Seeing/hearing for yourself is believing...

No. I'm sorry but I can do better welds than that. True statement and you know what is so damning? I'm not even sure if I could claim to be an average welder. With workman like welds penetration should be a given and there is no reason why good welds should have that slop welded by man. Welded by machine they should be looking completely uniform in every respect. Thats a crappy weld, anyone who knows anything about welding doesn't matter if its man or machine that did it will tell you the same. That their failure rate went down doesn't say anything good about those welds, what it does is condemn the men that welded them and the company that was willing to sell that swill.

Let me guess here, you sell Remus? lol

To me from that video clip comparison of all the Mesitershaft GT2 race exhaust and Gintani race were the two that sounded the best.

Im pretty sure no one has this exact setup, to my knowledge, Martin_D was the only one with the trumpet tips and he did not run it with a kreissieg x-pipe. The new owner I think is running just the same setup.
This setup would be pretty epic though, those tips
