turn off CEL

Hey guys im thinking of putting a full catless exhaust on my car and i was wondering if jsut unplugging the o2 sensors would eliminate the CEL that a regular catless system would throw. i do not want to tune it out due to Warranty purposes. any help would be appreciated

Nope. If it were that easy, everyone would be doing it. You'll need a tune or a Delete-R. If you're interested in a tune, we can definitely help you with that.

Delete-R is a tool that wires into the OBD-II Port. It sends a command to clear the code periodically so you don't have the check engine light come up.

It's definitely not the right way of doing it, but serves its purpose.

Must better to have it taken care of in the DME software.

Here's the catch with the delete-r and warranty. While you can remove the delete-r if you go in for warranty, your x-pipe will then throw a CEL if you don't have any programming there.

Get a tune - If you go in for warranty work pull the midpipes & put stock file back on.

No reason to flash it back to stock when taking it in. It's not going to help anything
