How to fit a GT4 suspension into a street car

Like some of you know I sold my GT4
Luckily I had the nearly new Bilstein Race suepension left, which I finally now mounted into my Frozen car. Thought this could be interesting to some:

Looks like a very complex setup! Are those pictures mounted on a e92? For some reason it doesn't look like our car.

Is the rear damper mount on the standard E92 M3 strong enough to support the Bilstein coilover unit? I would have thought it would require reinforcement due to the mount taking spring loads as well. The GT4 has the roll cage to provide that reinforcement due to its mounting points on the car's rear damper mounts.

Exactly that was my concern in the beginning too, but the GT4 enforcement covers only the upper section of the rear fender, not the mounting points by themself:

Ah, now I see. So, do you think any reinforcement is required? Is there any reinforcement in the GT4 at all for the rear damper? Perhaps the rear mounting points for the roll cage do provide a certain level of reinforcement given that the wheel arch is curved, and the load of the rear damper mount is spread across the curvature of the wheel arch.

Nice install!

Where did you get these rear suspension mounts? I have a very flat set for my Ohlins, and it seems like yours will give me a bit more ride height.

Thanks!
