13 E92 M3 on the scales, corner balance, percentages

Had the car corner balanced at west end the other day (AMAZING work btw). Was suprised the car (13 e92 m3 dct) weighed in at 3714 lbs w/ me in it.
I weighed about 176-178. Car had a half tank of gas and all fluids

So car w/ no driver = 3538 (not bad for a fully loaded DCT)

percentages w/ driver are:
front 52.3%
rear 47.7%
left 50.2%
right 49.8%

they kill it over there...put on fresh tires, pads, corner balance alignment and went from 2:01:7 to 1:59:2 @ Buttonwillow C13 on Rs3 w/ kw cs 3way and stoptechs. Car felt phenomenal from the corner balance

This is soooo making me want to do coilovers and does the bias seem to be a bit front heavy? You move any weight from the back? Once again, thx for the info and updates

Nice info, I'm going to get my car corner balanced once I get my RSS rollbar and harness installed later on this month.

Wow, lighter than most think. DCT adds 50lbs over the 6MT, so that would mean a 6MT coupe (with no sunroof of course) would be just under 3500lbs with a half-tank. This is an all-stock car, correct? (i.e. wheels, exhaust, etc)

Thanks,
Chuck

Not all stock but not much weight savings done.

Aftermarket dinan muffler saves a little. Not sure if the KW clubsports do or if the stop tech kit does as it's much bigger but it may. And apex 18s on rs3 wheels.

I'm pretty impressed with that weight. Especially since I have a manual coupe with few options.

Made me think a manual coupe with basically no options, the no leather manual seats could definitely be under 3500. Especially with some light mods then definitely would be

~3500 sounds about right. For what it is worth I have a track buddy with one of the most modified e92 m3s. He claims the biggest jump in performance was from removing weight. He is below 3250 with 1/4 tank gas no driver......and that car/driver moves!!

That's sick. When I raced in I-stock, my E36M3 had to be 3175 lbs WITHOUT driver!

So did they use hub stands when doing the corner balancing?

The really good places do the corner balancing and alignment on hub stands, not tires. And that will take off about 200lbs from the actual curb weight.

But a dinan muffler and Apex wheels will save about 80 lbs.

Did they give you the actual weights for all four corners with you in the drivers seat?

My fully loaded e90 was 3588 with 1/4 tank with some weight taken out of the rear end, so sounds about right.

Once I put my roll bar and harness in, I'll get the RS corner balanced. I'm curious how close to 3,000lbs it weigh since I took off the OEM exhaust and saved 50lbs+ off the rear.

By fully loaded do you mean sunroof and DCT?
