▀▄ eas | e92 3 Series AngeliBright LED vs HID Angel eyes photo comparison
Here are a few pics we took today with some local forum members documenting a comparison between two different angel eye systems for the e92's.

Great comparison pics, they look great. The AngeliBright are definitely more uniform than the HID's which is awesome. I just wish the LEDs were a bit brighter to be more visible in the day. For example, look at the 2nd and 3rd to last pics how from that angle you cant see the AngelIBrights but you can still see the HID's. But then with the HID's, you got the brighter inner ring. I guess they both have theirs pros and cons.

Here are some of my pics.
6k left, AiB Middle, 8k Right: 6k vs AiB AiB vs 8K: SARD's Pics: Inside the EAS shop: AiB: 6k: 8k: My thoughts? Well, the AiB is a great product. The packaging and install looks very good and easy to install. However, IMO, its not bright enough for ME PERSONALLY. I do think that AiB's uniformity is great, but like everyone else, i would like it to be BRIGHTER. So, at the end of the day, I am very happy with my HIDs AEs from Camaronss305. I just did this to give you a comparison. At the end of the day, its what YOU want. Thanks to Tom for giving us the opportunity to compare and contrast. I know that ALOT of the venders out there would not even give anyone this chance to compare THEIR product with another competing product. So Big Props to Tom for stepping up the plate and let us do this comparison! Thanks again Tom! Good meeting you Brandon. Ed Lin

Let me start off by saying that I am very happy with my AngeliBright LEDs. I think the car should have come this way. The stock yellow and dim angel eyes just look old and tired IMO. I love the uniformity of the lights and the ease of install. The only weakness is what you describe ... in bright sunlight at an angle you really can't see them. But this is a very minor annoyance and much better that having the inner ring so much brighter than the outside ring. Plus I think the HID kits are really too bright.

Note: Outside shots are angled slightly downward on all 3 vehicles, you really have to be at eye level to get the full effect of any angel eye kit due to the ring design.
Getting pictures from both points of view is a big plus.

Great comparison pics..... At the end of the day both are great products. EAS has by far the best LED's on the market. It really just comes down to what you want. Do you want brighter more visable lights? Or a more defined ring?

verrrry nice comparison! I really like the LED lights you guys produced but I do love my HID ones. I think if we could find a way to mis-direct the bulb or beam with the HID that would take away some of the over brightness of the middle rings and hopefully move it exterior to the outside rings...I am going to work on this and see if Chris will incorporate it.
Excellent product EAS team! M

I have to say those are very accurate pics of how HID looks on the car. Great comparison. What you need to add in is the camaross kit with connector to use any H8 bulb you want. That way you have choice of color temp and no problems with HID being to bright. Probably brighter than the EAS kit too.

How much is it for the EAS AiBs vs Camaross kit and how hard are the installs? Is one easier than the other?

EAS will be easier. But slightly more expensive I think by $30. Neither are hard to install though, I'd suggest just going by looks of what you like.
