The AiB will be much easier since it's equivalent to a bulb swap, no external harnesses are needed.

AiB is probably gonna be easier to install than the HID kit. The hid kit is harder to install for sure. However, you should go by what look you like instead of considering how hard it is to install. I believe Camaron's HID kits are 250 vs 299 AiB

Talking I think the HID lights look good but I like the AiB better

Hey Tom and Brandon I know you guys are going to hook me up with those AiB lights. You better have your camera charged up when I come there to your shop to get those AiB installed and takes some pics of my M3

In case this wasn't mentioned, with the HID bulbs, the higher in temperature you go.... the lower the overall brightness will be. You can see it in the comparison shot between the 8000k and 6000k bulbs, with the 8000k being fairly dimmer. I have the 12000k bulbs and they don't bleed out the shape of the rings like the 6000k bulbs do.

I have to admit, most of the pics I've seen of this kit do look pretty good

Thanks man! This kit is amazing. You won't even begin to imagine what kind of noob I am to installing car stuff, but I got it. I cut my thumb in the process because you have to have midget fingers to screw the bulb in haah..I improvised a little and got it to work.

You have Camaro's HIDs right? They are also very nice, but too technical for me to install.

I'm using his "Elite" system now which sends full power to GP Thunder H8s, much more time consuming to install than this kit, but not technically difficult. I'd love to see some side by side comparisons of the Elite kit vs. AiB. Tough to tell from pics, but they very similar. Some real life comparison would be sweet.

If EAS is interested I'd be more than happy to install one of each in each side of my car for comparison pics.

Oh that's pretty cool! I bet it looks sick. I would love to meet up with you but you're quite a ways from me lol. Maybe EAS would be down for a comparison.

I'd be game, however we should be able to produce the same results for photos with a power supply going directly to the bulb at a fixed voltage here in our facility.

Just as with the HIDs, there will be a difference in illumination of the stock halogen bulbs between the inner and outer rings.
