Anybody with EVOLVE tuning ?

I want to buy their X pipe and ECU tuning, but I want to know from users of Evolve if all has been perfect ?

Worth it ?

So confused if I should get BPM, ESS or now Evolve, hehehehe...

Thing is a good deal with X pipe came through and they have group buy at good Price with their tune...

They're all the same, unless you're talking about FI... but in your case it's all 99% the same no matter who does it.

It is true they are all pretty much the same. I use Evolve and have had no issues, the stage 2 tune with the gts dct is the beez neez. Just getting rid of that stupid cold start is worth the money.

I have custom test pipes and bpm tune. They are offering ACM test pipe plus stage 2 tune at a discount right now (i dont think its a group buy).

Xpipe and test pipe is the same benefit. Save the extra cash ($1k+) and get another mod with it! Maybe complete the exhaust with a nice axle back (if you dont already have one) or a diffuser to complete the look!! I wish i had more mod funds

Bpm also works 24hrs 365 days a year. Great customer service.

Evolve is having a great special for their ecu , servo, gts-DCT right now for $899. They are a reputable company with a good background in my E46 days. But go with whatever you'd like, they all make similar claims to gains. If you are still on the fence, at least update to the oem 240e software to wake the car up

E92M3GT,

I just got my Evolve Tune this morning! As we discussed over PM, I'll keep you all posted. I have a crazy busy latter half of the week, so I'll try to give feedback right away.

JUMP IN ON THE GROUP BUY!

Act now, you won't be disappointed with Sal and Imran's service. I have a stage II tune (still waiting on the servo + DCT being programmed next week) and the added torque everywhere is welcomed, as well as VANOS changes which made my OEM exhaust noticable louder (more bassy sound at idle, a noticeable howl when revved). I came from an OEM 220E tune, moved to a 240E tune, then on a tuned 240E, each step got better and more positive; definitely not a placebo effect. My review will be up soon, but I had a delay in getting my test pipes installed so I wanted to wait until that was done so I could get on the dyno

Was quite impressive how you picked up on the exhaust note and related that to changes in the valve overlap.

Well I love the cold start, but the wife who is still sleeping when I leave in the morning is not impressed with it. LOL
Actually I am looking for a new exhaust and when I do I will probably turn it back on.

Send me a quick email, I'm not sure of your real name.

I am making S65 files at the moment.

Soon, everyone will have this latest version of the stage 2 and Akrapovic tune.

Yes... yet another update!

Ok got your PM.

Gives me a chance to talk another related subject.

Often people will request Stage 2 tunes (primary cat delete, Akrapovic X Pipes) before actually installing the part.

Too many times in the past we have experienced bad installs of X Pipes where either there is a leak or the pre CAT 02 sensors are damaged. The tuning is done at the same time and when the problems occur a high percentage of people will automatically blame the tune. After much discussion, testing and time wasting it is found to be damaged 02 sensors.

So, what we now ask everyone to do is install their exhaust parts, drive the car and make sure everything is working as it should and the only codes that should appear are for CAT efficiency bank 1 /2 (Codes 2789 and 278A).

Once you are confident all is ok, then apply the tuning.

This also has another positive by product - it shows you the difference the tune actually makes so you know exactly what it is you are paying for.
Also adds to the whole tuning experience in my opinion doing it in small stages.

Question

If you don't have the m button, can you still get the servo tune?
