Eisenman race exhaust, TUV approved?

I really like the sound and probebly the power gains of the Remus and Eisenman Race systems, but I'd hate to get one that is not TUV approved and find myself not passing a SVA/MOT or back in the States a state inspection because it's too loud. But what are the chances of that?? Anyone?

Also, anyone got a Remus/Eisenman Race or Sport exhaust fitted and living in East Anglia/London area? I'd like to come by sometime and take a look/hear myself before I make a choice. Good reason to have a pint too, cheers!

I don't think you will have a problem getting the Eisenmann approved as I believe that they based it on the TUV specs. So you shouldn't have any issues there. Let us know if we can help out.

I live in CA and generally nobody cares about your exhaust system as long as the Cats are not modified. They will, however, give you a hard time if they see anything under the hood that doesnt look stock (engine related)...

ya, I don't think back in the States anyone ever has a problem with their exhaust not passing State inspections unless they cut off the CAT's. I guess I'm a bit more worried while I'm in the UK as here their pretty tight-asses about it all. But since my M3 is new, the SVA inspection as they call it here is not due for another 3 years so I might be good to go, unless I extend for another term.

Rob, I'm interested to find someone in the UK with either the Eisenmann or Remus on their M3 too. If you do find one, happy to meet up for a beer as would like to hear one in the flesh
