I was drive in S5 and in S6 mode... I'm not sure why DCT had slippage but im assuming it has to do with comfort.. but idk.. i hated that but now thanks to mikes software its all gone..
honestly normal driving i couldn't feel any difference.. i also drive mine in the 3rd hash light..
as far as launch mode mike is 100% right... it drooped to 3500rpm and car is gone.. love that.. will save my clutches in the long run..

here is a video of my track day with BPM stage 1 engine software and there DCT transmission software.. made it so easy to drive my car.. love it..
Good stuff!! I can't wait to try this software out on the Nurburgring! Thanks for sharing.

Pricing and official details have not been released yet. We're a bit overloaded with getting all of the tuning cables out to those that have been waiting for stock.

We will definitely release all of the information when load calms down! We always focus on current and previous customers before taking on new business

We have about 100 coming in on this order, roughly 60 are accounted for so far, so we will have some extras and another order of 100 coming in a few weeks

You're covered my friend, hope you're still enjoying the tune and DCT software!!

the big question is whether this new software 'saves' multiple downshifts in memory and will go downshifting by itself when the revs allow it.

As in you're entering a corner braking and click twice. It downshifts once and as you shave off more speed it will downshift again once it's possible.

Quick video from some of last night's testing of different revisions. Car has BPM Stg I Engine software w/ 8,700 RPM Rev Limit + DCT Software. No hardware modifications whatsoever.

Mike,

That looks sick!

Will the higher torque while shifting cause any additional stress/wear on the clutches or trans in general? Or will the faster shifts actually help the clutches/trans because of less slip and heat?

How many different revisions will there be to choose from?

This looks like another winner from BPM/Mike. I can't wait...

We'll get you set up tomorrow.

See this link for what the software looks like: http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/e60...ming-tool.html

(Same software tool for M3 and M5).

Can't discuss pricing in this section but it will be significantly less than engine software. We'll start a group buy thread in the sponsors section for it.
