Some random Questions for M3 Owners
1) Do most people drive with the MDM on all the time? I know I will have the power button on all the time, but is MDM okay to have on that much?
2) The motion sensor for the alarm is still included on the 2011's correct? 3) Can the lights be programmed to stay on after the car is turned off? I have read through the online manual and it's not as informative as the paper one...hence my questions.

1. I usually drive with M mode off.
2. I don't have a 2011 but 2010 doesn't come with a motion sensor. 3. ??? I don't think so. Quote:

They will, for a bit longer, about 45s. Pull the high bream stalk after you turn the car off and they'll stay on. The length was customizable on the M5 at one point, not sure on the M3. I don't remember being able to set it on mine.

unless youre racing all the time, theres no reason to have the power botton on all the time.
