Here is the M3 DCT and Porsche 911 DKT trying to drift...easy to spin and thus easy to drift. Car & Driver finally get it right.

Drifting with MDM is impossible. Obviously you have not tried it.

Interesting question - does DCT vs 6MT transmission make any difference to drifting? Probably not unless things go wrong. But if you spin, in a 6MT you would put the clutch in. In a DCT, there should be no problem so long as you keep your right foot off the gas. But I was told that if you spun, and while facing backwards you touched the gas, you could do a lot of damage, effectively letting out the clutch while going backwards. Unlikely, but worth thinking about if you are going to play like this. When I went with my son to a handling course, the coach advised me to be ready to shift to neutral (lever to the left) if my son spun.
