Crash Test Ratings
Not to say Crash Test scores encompass all crash situations but I saw a M3 in the dealership today and the sticker had a 3 star front impact rating for the passenger - with a government warning symbol. Slightly uneasy on the mind - any thoughts on why this would be lower than the other 3 models which are 4 stars? Lighter components?

Don't trust the government! The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (AKA a group who do this for the money) gives the 3 Series their best rating in both frontal offset and side impact crashes. Except for the E93.

That's weird - the window sticker on my 2009 says that the M3 coupe wasn't rated for any impact standards. No stars at all - good or bad. Anyone else have this as well?
