I probably don't have time for a drive but could meet up for a coffee and to hear some cars. Will have my full Evo hooked up by next weekend if that works better for others.

High flow secondaries. There is actually another guy on here (jzbm3) that has it already mounted.

OT, how is the GC sleeve kit holding up?

It was fine but I got tired of the harsh ride so I actually just pulled it out and put in their "street" camber plate with the stock (zcp) springs. Much more compliant now for a daily driver. The nut brackets on both sides in the front were warped pretty good when I took them off. Not sure what that's about. I need to call and ask.

I'm probably going to buy camber and toe setting tools so I don't have to go get an alignment every time I change something.

Getting the Gintani Race delivered today! Will be at HPR Saturday in the E36... if the weather holds, how about coffee next Sunday (4/1)?

We have quite a lineup going now! I can't wait until we can coordinate this. But 4/1 falls on SCCA time trials at PPIR. I have yet to get my E36 out to the track and am over eager. If I were to opt for open laps at HPR instead, I could do Sunday.

We're getting to the point, though, where every weekend will have track and other events. Since evenings are getting lighter, though, maybe we shoot for a weeknight meet of the S65 Exhaust Orchestra?

Next Saturday would be ok. The next cars and coffee is the Saturday after that on 4/7 too.

Cool Meet Sunday 4/1?

Sunday 4/1 is looking more possible for me, as I'm currently leaning towards HPR on Saturday (as opposed to the full weekend w SCCA at PPIR). Can we gather a quorum?
  1. llis - BMW M Performance
  2. dnvrdrvr - Gintani Race axle-back
  3. Signes - Akrapovic Rear Section (or is it full Akra Evo?)
  4. SlamMan - Eisenmann Race Axle Back
  5. baliano - Eisenmann Race w connecting pipes
  6. E92_SID - OEM exhaust mod
  7. ColoCane - OEM
  8. Zettabyte - OEM

Also mentioned:
  • jzbm3 - Akra Evo

Anyone else interested? I know there's more out there. I've seen Dinan mentioned before, and heard it once last winter (forget who had it). Anyone with a Supersprint, AA, Hamann, Vorsteiner, AC Schnitzer, Remus, Meisterschaft, RPI, or [manufacturer yet to be named] exhaust?

How does Sunday 4/1 work for everyone? Any suggestions on where to meet? (Someplace kind of central, someplace where we can do more than rev in neutral.)

Next Sunday should work for me. We could meet over by the Pepsi Center at Brauns or Brooklyns or something. Could at least do some passes since the roads aren't very busy (as long as the Avs or Nuggets are not playing...)

I am actually getting my car dino'd on Saturday with my Akra rear section before installing the full evo. I may leave it for the following weekend, would be good to hear jzb's full Evo compared to a rear section only.

One more for your list though he doesn't seem to come into this regional forum is DCstep (AA rear section.)

In for Sunday! Pepsi Center (Brooklyn's) is a good idea although I'm not sure how long we'll go unnoticed by The Law.

Good point... Anything more "open" or out of the way that would work?

As for time, 9am works for me. Early side is better for not being noticed and the restaurants won't be open either.

Agree with signes. Earlier = better. I'm good with 9am too. Thinking on alternate locations... There are a few places down by me I can think of (back roads along E470 chock full of warehouses that sit empty on weekends), but it's in Centennial, not really central. Any place like that up north?

Im in Centennial too so that is fine with me. Where exactly are you talking about? I live off of E470 and Quincy/Smokey Hill. There are empty country roads just east of my house near Arapahoe reservoir.

The first thing that came to mind is where I spent 3 hours cooking my brakes practicing heel-toe. Right next to Centennial airport and the outdoor karting place. We could meet at the Starbucks on Arapahoe at Peoria? I know there are a lot of folks up north and west though, so if there are other ideas, I'm game for that too!!

So we have the following folks up for meeting this Sunday morning ~ 9am down south. Here's a link to the Starbucks I'm thinking of. Very near to the place I mentioned earlier, I found an even better spot last night (across the street from the American Furniture Warehouse building) with freshly paved roads and a combination of straights and a little twisty.
  • llis - BMW M Performance
  • Signes - Akrapovic Rear Section
  • E92_SID - OEM exhaust mod
  • dnvrdrvr - Gintani Race axle-back

Who else wants to join? llis have you posted this on any other boards? (Edit: I just posted this over in the regional board on bimmerfest and m3forum.) Agree with what you posted above - would love to hear some good variety. Could be especially beneficial for those of you who are OEM and looking into options.

If we hang out long enough, we could head over and do some karting at either Speed Raceway (opens at 11) or the Track at Centennial (opens at 10). Bring your helmets?

PS. I did not cross post as this forum seems to have by far the most E9x M3 owners.
