Video: BMW Frozen Paint Details and Cleaning / Maintenance Guide

Interesting video on taking care of frozen paint.

And here's the official BMW released video on frozen paint care and maintenance - http://f10.m5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=677929

Quote:
This week on DRIVE CLEAN, we take a tour of BMW's North American Headquarters in Woodcliff Lake New Jersey to discuss their "Frozen" matte paint and to identity how it differs from traditional clear-coat finishes. Matthew Russell, president of the M-car and Alpina division's for north America, gives us a tour of the facility and discusses how BMW came to create their new "Frozen" paint scheme (shown on BMW's M3 with Frozen Monte Carlo Blue). BMW's head of body-and-paint technical training manager, Walter Malec, also discusses matte-paint technology and repairs. And as expected, we'll also review how to best clean and care for matte finishes.

I guess that proves that all those people who said Frozen paint was a bitch to take care of were correct!

That looks like a pain in the @ss... it is beautiful, but I don't think it's worth it.

well that was annoying. it took them ten minutes just to sum up to not polish the car and wash it normally (with care).i've seen this guy's other videos and they are good i feel like its either redundant or he's missing some key points in the specific area of detailing he's talking about. i hated how he said to never use a sponge because that was a false statement
