But for a track car, doesn't the akra gt4 offer some of the best weight savings? Why the switch?

Very simple my friend, the sound. Plus with the valuetronic I can shut the values on tracks like Laguna Seca were their are sound restrictions. Plus an extra 50lbs I'm not sweating on this car.

Yes they will... the e90 version shares the same x pipe and connecting pipe...
The gt4 is da bomb! sounds awesome and definitely frees up the horses more. The xpipe is 8 pounds lighter than with cat and resonator I did have a run-in with a local race track... it was 12db louder than evo... thats 16x louder LOL |
