The only thing is, I can't drive them both at the same time!

Let no one speak of the difference between Dakar Yellow II vs. Alpine White, of DCT vs. 6MT, and of E90 vs. E92 with more authority than Dakar92

Why not?

He mixed it up on body style, got the different transmission and he chose a subtle color to compliment the more vibrant Dakar. Good play

Very nice! Were you tempted to do another individual color on the E90? Hellrot would have been nice too.

Ordered it the first week of March, it just came in last Thursday, and I picked it up Friday. The dealer did have my exact car, but it had a Moonroof (I don’t like Moonroofs) and it didn’t have fold-down rear seats, so I had to do a build. It’s not like I was in a hurry!

My thinking was:

I really like the M3, and wanted one as a DAILY DRIVER, but there is NO way I’m going to drive a Yellow M3 around (The Market, Lowes, Wal-Mart, Out to Dinner) town everyday. So what do I do, well I could buy a Porsche, but then that is not a very good daily driver either. “I know, I can buy a 4 door (for entertaining) Sedan M3 V8 (before the V8 goes bye-bye) and use that as a daily driver.”

Now keep in mind, I did have a 135i, that I was using as a daily driver, but, too small for entertaining, and too rough of a ride with the Run-Crap Tires, so bye-bye to that one.

Just one note, I won’t be using the M3 Sedan as a Daily Driver for a while, because my daughter (14) will be driving in a couple of years, so I decided to buy a Camry for her, but I will be using it as a Daily Driver until she can drive.

So the end result is this:

I have a Camry as a daily driver and I will have two (2) M3 V8s, which will NEVER be made again, and both will have very low miles. The only place I will loose is the warranty will run out before either of them hits 10K miles.

I do/will drive them EVERY weekend over one of the canyons to the beach, and then cruise up the coast.

Make sense? NO!

We are all car guys, and love our cars, whether we have BMWs, Porsches, Aston Martins…

You have no idea how close I was to ordering the E90 M3 Sedan in FIRE ORANGE!

Yes, there were going to approve that color for me!

But again, ORANGE as a Daily Driver, NOT!

I have to agree. Married or not, I just cannot see myself spending this type of money on two of the same thing, and these cars are the same.

Rather get a convertible, or a motorcycle (for track duty only )

My daughter did say “I dare you to get the E93 M3 convertible too.”
