Be careful driving through SC since there are many cops in unmarked cars and hiding all over the place with the 4th coming soon.

I got a speeding ticket going thru Spartanburg...had a radar detector and got caught with instant on....

No, had a regular passport and as soon as the trooper turned on his radar gun, my detector went nuts. By that time it was too late. My fault, I was travelling in the early morning hours with no traffic around me.

I grew up in SC and they are bad! Most of my speeding tickets from earlier were from there.

Weird, when I was driving back from Spartanburg into Tampa, FL I saw almost no cops while I was in SC. The only one I saw as a matter of fact was a Mustang GT Shelby (400HP or something) State Trooper. When he took the off ramp I moved up to 100MPH. Did that until I got within 30 miles of Atlanta and then had to slow to about 85MPH. When I hit the Florida border the state troopers were freakin everywhere. 6 people stopped within a 500 foot radius (yes, 500 FEET!), myself included.

Must have been a quite day or time of year. Maybe they already met the quota for the month. They love I-95 and Hwy 378/76 going to Myrtle Beach. They have IROC Z's, Stangs, and several other undercover cars. I really hate them!:mad:

My guess is you are going to the M Driving Experience from the June 30th till July 1! Am I right? I think so!

Go see Charleston and Myrtle Beach while you are there. Savannah is a couple of hours away as well.

not BMW related. Did get to drive by the plant and P-center, but that's about it.

Stallion - that is too funny! But trust me... SC is much worse than Dover!

I may return here someday to take a delivery though... I think that would be cool.
