I didn't enjoy Buttonwillow that much on Saturday because I was really tired. I couldn't focus during driving for the whole day. But I love that track in confi' 13, very technical. |

Nice driving, James. I think between Friday and Saturday you were the fastest E9X out there.
Here is the vid from my wipe out. Skip to 3:40 for the part where I lose control: |

Nice driving though! It's time for you to move up to advanced, the point-by-passing is slowing your times down. |

Nice videos guys. Alfred, love the view from the camera mounted on the lower front grill. Can hear the engine/throttle-work clearly.

Turn 1 and 9, you either floored the gas too late or turn in a bit early. But I can't tell exactly from the vid. But I'm not sure if because of MDM. I used MDM for my first 2 track days, what I found out was MDM has it's own line, it wouldn't allow you to do what you want to do. But again, I'm not sure if that's the case. At Big Willow, you can try to find the best line that you feel the most comfortable with, and the line you can carry the most speed. it's all about how fast you go through high speed corners and how long the straight line you get. You just need to get comfortable with. There're some more Big willow events later this year. Let's go together next time. |

Other way around. You're so skilled even with a stock convertible that I have to mod just to keep up. |

Got the idea from another vid posted on the pics/vids section..Using the closed housing and mounting it low,the cam captures the induction sounds nicely..still working on heal/toe

I'm probably going July 30th with my friends to Buttonwillow. I'm considering Laguna Seca on June 25th. The schedule for that day is whack as crap though, Friday is some Concours event, Saturday (25th) is only in two half-day sessions, and Sunday is mainly reserved for motorcycles and hybrid/electric cars (wtf?) with only 2 sessions for normal cars.
I'll consider Buttonwillow on July 9th as well. It's a fun track, I love it. What configuration and direction is it? Last edited by LateBraking; 06-13-2011 at 04:51 PM.. |
