Whose M3 Is this??
I hope your S/C because that plate is pretty obnoxious especially if your stock. Someone wants to spice up the rivalry.

Hey someone has to contribute some sense of reality to the threads on this forum especially in the "M3 Vs " section. Again I owned the last M3 had two BMW's before this no allegiance to any brand there all great cars in there own ways.

Doubt it since he was driving around in the snow with Michelin PS2's I have the same tires on my car and previous M3 and got caught in the snow in both cars and wound up having to abandon the car in a parking lot each time. It was either that or risk going into a tree or skidding through an intersection.

Wow, I hope he is S/C because an AMG would eat him up alive. But then again if you're using PS2 in the snow...I highly doubt. I would not dare take my car out on the rain in freezing temps on my OEM. This guy is something else.

Hahaha I drive my M3 with my advans in freezing temps all the time/. Not in the snow, but in freezing temps. From the looks of it, it seems as if he has a stock exhaust, so chances r, hes stock. But I mean, with all due respect, I dont think u have to b supercharged to beat a c63. Supercharged beats almost anything in its way. Couple of mods and a tune and its a great race. But i do agree that plate is pretty silly.
Altho, at oone point I was considering "335 LMAO" |

Ive seen that guys car twice. once on my way back from vermont before I owned an m3. I thought the license plate was hilarious. then I saw him again on route 17 near white castle. The plate stuck out enough in my head that I remembered it from both encounters. anyhow its ballsy to have a plate like that, but it is kind of funny.
While I could careless about whose car is faster, I do think most m3 owners would agree that we did not purchase these cars to go fast in a straight line. Thought I would share these videos also... http://www.insideline.com/bmw/m3/200...z-c63-amg.html |

Well, the C63 may eat up an M3 in a straight-line but the M3 has a bigger advantage on anything that curves.
...so, his plate is not totally inaccurate. -SZ |

Each car has there pros and cons. But without a skilled driver either scenario can go either way. I seen people try to drag race in Merc automatics and use the paddles to shift and wind up losing because of the lag from the paddle shift to the actual shifting of the trans and re-engaging of the throttle. On the other hand a novice driver isn't going to put down a better lap time then an experience driver in a C63.

That's the first I've heard of that plate. That's awesome. In all honesty, I still haven't seen an IS-F on the road. I still think that they are a myth. I'll probably see an LFA before I see an IS-F.
I'm not a huge fan of the "rivalry" plates. I like the "pride" plates more. Here is the plate on my e46 M3

I wouldn't take a C63 AMG on a straight line... but add some corners to the mix and it's a different story.
During the first Skyline drive... i was following a Z4M and tailed by two C63s. Once the road got twisty, I was able to keep up with that little Z4M, but those two C63s disappeared from my rear view mirror....that is until the road got straighter and they caught up mighty quick |

Considering how many D'Bags are around these areas, you don't want a plate that will attract the attention of the jealous type who will vandalize your car. |
