ZCP are ET31..so you were effectively spaced out almost ~10 mm in comparison..

IMO running 30mm wider tire than factory is overkill.. but thats me.

A 275 is pretty wide for a 9" wheel. You lose a lot of steering precision with that much of a pinch. A 265/30r19 works fine up front, on a ZCP wheel, not sure if that is available in the brand/model you want.

Pretty tight clearance to the strut but it works.

Edit to add that 265/35 is not going to work, too tall. Also if you can hold off I would recommend 255/35, 285/30 set-up if you can deal with the limited choices now. I would like to get more steering feel back up front and think the 285/30 rear would be a little better than 295/30 I have. Esp for tires like the AD08 and PSS, both of which run pretty wide.
thanks~will take a look at that.

I am running 275/30/19s and 295/30/19 ad08s on my e92 with no rubbing. I have about negative 2 chamber all around (may increase the front chamber during the next track day). Works well.

Ok I got some late braking news from a good friend of mine. He advised me that PSS's run wide. He's running them on his 911 and thought the 295 looked closer to a 305 when I first got them. A couple of post in this thread refer to AD08's which doesn't seem to run as wide as a PSS from my research. I don't want to adjust the camber just to accommodate a wider wheel for daily duty. So as the clock was ticking down on the Michelin rebate I pulled the trigger on some 265-30's and 295-30's. This should work with no rubbing at all. Now my only concern will be the .5" overall diameter drop up front. This could cause my lip to rub in and out of the driveway. I guess I have to leave it in M mode to keep things stiff until I've cleared the dip. Thanks for all the input guys .................Phil

I am looking at running the same setup right now, here is my post from yesterday: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=666915

The sizes you are running would be ideal for an E92 M3 in terms of the tread width I am looking for and the overall diameter is as close as possible so as to not screw with the speedo too much. Could also go 265 in front if needed. I just want to be sure there will be no rubbing at all.

How do you adjust the camber on stock suspension?

Let me know how this works out for you, I am considering the same exact setup on a new set of HRE 19's, just have to figure out the right offset and lock down on the tire sizes, don't want to adjust camber either and I do not want any rubbing issues. Tire sizes are a pain in the ass.

I am also considering 20's, this setup seems to work fine for the poster: http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=224094

A 0.5" reduction in diameter means your ride height will only drop by 0.25" so unless your car is really low I doubt it will cause any issues.

As for the PSS running wider, I just installed a set of 255/285, 245/265 and 205 square tires on three different cars, and I didn't notice a significant increase in width of any of the PSS tires compared to the original tires. I will say the PSS has a more squared shoulder than the rounded shoulder on the PS2 which slightly increases the effective width of the PSS.

I'm sure that's what gives them a wider look. Even with that some minor rubbing probably would occur at full lock. Since I'm not planning to adjust the camber any, the safe bet was to run the 265-30. As for the .025" drop.....man it's still going to be close. My guess is it will be as close as it is now since my current rubber is approaching the wear bars. New rubber should lift it back up just enough. Try to look at my signature picture and you can get a idea of how close it is.......................Phil

You're right - looking at your sig that lip is close to the ground

I agree the PSS are slightly wider but to me they don't appear to be a full size wider; however, I haven't taken any measurements so you could be right.

From what I've read it sounds like a 265/30 on the front should just barely clear at full lock. I'm running 255/40-18 on a 9.5"et23 wheel on the front and I do not rub at full lock - my setup has a larger diameter but is not as wide as your 265/30-19 setup.

Did you put these on? I will order a set of AD08 255/35/19 front, and 295/30/19 rear after next autoX event. Also, where did you buy tires? Tire rack?

Fit is spot on and the look is great......in fact I just crawled under the car to check things out. The 295 out back looks like it was meant to be there......Phil
