Car lit up like a Christmas Tree
Drove my car today for a good 50 miles before I had to park it. After 4 hours, I pulled out from the parking lot and was going less than 20mph around 2k rpm in 1st gear and the car bucked and revved and then the engine light, ABS and brake lights, and other lights came on.
I drove less than a mile, parked and after a couple minutes started back up. All lights off, I drove off from the parking and it happened again. Parked again and after a while drove to go to my friends shop, no CEL at first, but when I got to the freeway, everything lit up again. Sorry photo is really blurry as I was driving when it came on and I took the pic.

Basically, when I was in the freeway already, the chime sounded, all lights came on, and the rev limiter slid up to 4.5k.
Codes we were able to pull are as follows: 2B23 Idle State Controller Bank 1 2B57 Motor Emergency Programm Activated 2B0D Idle State Monitoring Bank 1 I'll bring it in to the dealer tomorrow and see what they say.

Yo armorrig,
Everything you just described is EXACTLY the same as what happened to me 10,000 miles ago. It's the idle control valve thing. Have fun. |

Which dealership did you take it to? I'm thinking of bringing it to Monrovia @ 7am because I'll probably be in Arcadia before 7am.
