iND | Macht Schnell Track Pipes

Retain your factory secondary catalysts all the while removing the largest restriction in your exhaust. The factory primary catalyst on the E9X M3 consist of a massive 400 cell unit. Installation of the Macht Schnell piece is installed via two incisions after the primary catalyst and the unit is then secured with the provided clamps. Professional installation is recommended.

Bypass Track Pipe Features:
  • Full Stainless Steel Construction, with mandrel bends for optimum flow
  • Straight shot design for zero restriction and high velocity
  • Gains as high as 20hp/20lb-ft TQ with no aftermarket software
  • Retains OEM O2 locations
  • Retains use of OEM crush gaskets

A tune is required to remove the check engine light. IND offers a couple solutions that can be purchased as a package with the Macht Schnell Bypass Track Pipe.

Priced too high. Seriously, $400 was kind of pushing it for TMS, but now that this is supposedly the "only" manufacturer to make these, the price has to be 500? Youve lost a sale.

Exactly. Too tired of others thinking the m tax on parts is ok. All parts for these cars are wayyyyyyyyy overpriced

It's getting really old and quite frankly pisses me off. They are no different than the test pipes I had on my Nismo Z and I paid $200 for them. Even better, they were resonated test pipes. Poop on everyone else.

IND, If you can do a group buy that can knock off 20% or more off the final cost, then maybe we can talk..

How about for MS Pulleys, Tune, and Test Pipes?

Would I just be able to clamp the cats back on for street/emissions purposes?

I asked the same question - the cats need to be welded back on (clamps won't work).

They do not need to be welded back on, just get some different clamps, the make some for od/od clamping.

That's contrary to what IND told me last night via PM. However, I hope this is true as it makes the test pipes that much more attractive!

Don't think this is possible due to how close the cut needs to be made to the cats. There won’t be enough straight tube length left to clamp onto properly. You might be able to make it work with a jenky narrow clamp, but be prepared for the ensuing leaks.
