Police officer tases schoolgirl, 14, seconds after she puts her hands up

Quote:
A surveillance video showing a police officer tasering a 14-year-old girl in the groin has been released as part of a lawsuit she has filed against the officer and the city.
Keshana Wilson, from Allentown, Philadelphia, was tasered by the police officer on September 29 outside Dieruff High school as she was walking with a group of friends.

People get tased for a reason 99% of the time. They are doing something stupid and think they are above everyone else. Im sick of cops getting the bum wrap for tasering people who deserve it. There are a VERY SMALL number of people getting tasered for no reason. America is soft and full of retards, lawsuit hungry jackasses, ultra sensitive fanbois and just generally ignorant people. Its getting progressively worse each year and thanks to the media for picking tasering to highlight over the past three to make it suddenly an issue.

I wouldn't waste your time on him.

He also tasered her in the groin.

it cuts to him wrestling her on the car so i would assume some altercation happens which we dont see; where she decided to run her mouth and possibly raise her arms at him. She is 14 so shes in charge duhhh. He pulled the taser out to scare and keep her back but when she raise her arms again to back off he reacts to quick with the trigger-- bang DONT TASE ME BRO

Cops hardly ever randomly tase people. The chick was blatantly resisting his restraint... so he made the decision to tase her. He stepped back and did what he had to do.

Would you have rather seen her THROWN to the ground? Ironic how they cut the film too.

LOL yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if she had pretended to cease already once and then began resisting again.

There's way too much missing here to make a determination one way or the other. I think I'll go read the first page and last page of Les Miserables and let you know what I think of the entire book.

Whatever the cop decided to do,would be viewed as wrong.

In our new pussified PC culture...he was in a lose/lose situation.

The cops, and almost everyone in an authority position, face an unprecedented amount of non-compliance.

How would the conversation go if he took her down to the ground with a body slam??? I agree some cops are dicks. They are supposed to take control of a situation.

I see nothing wrong with the video.

Cop was in the right in my book. Even in the short clip you can see her wrestling with the officer and resisting arrest. She throws her hands up less than a second before getting tazed so spare me the "she was clearly submitting" bullshit.

This was not a police officer "randomly tazing someone." This person was resisting arrest. I really hate how the article says she was tazed "as she was walking with a group of friends." Stupid media.

I see nothing wrong with what the officer did. Missing footage too so we don't know what exactly happened.

Shooting her in the groin is a good thing, right? Ever since watching the Chappelle show I've had the belief that it's bad to shoot someone above the waist.

I admit I hate over aggressive/trigger/punch/kick happy cops as much as the next guy, but I'm not jumping on this. Way too much missing information.

The only thing I see is a female and cop wrestling. Near the end of the video you see a male with his hands behind his back being escorted by someone with a security jacket.

Something obviously happened, more than likely a fight and the video doesn't show any of it.

You're saying every time someone is tased it goes on the news?
