Bumping this thread up...Driving an E92 M3 DCT and now my car also making the exact bell sound.

Can I check does the following remedy works? TIA

Yes it worked for me. Noise is gone. It's been several months and several track days later. Still good.

So weird that it works for some and not others but the "clink" sound is almost identical regardless. Appreciate the follow up!
