EDC Coding to Disable - Help
I will soon be installing coilovers on my e92. I will need to disable my EDC.
Been doing some research and digging with NCS and haven't found a way to do so yet. I read the EDC module and didn't seem as easily as setting something from aktiv to nicht_aktiv. It's all a bunch of hex values. Anyone have any tips on how to do this?

Physically unplug the module in the trunk. Remove $223 from the VO and code CAS and NFRM with the new VO code the edc-related options in the Kombi and CIC to nicht_aktiv (if you dont have a CIC then i believe its in CAPPL) After that i cleared error codes in INPA but that probably isnt even necessary. |

Ended up doing mine a slightly different way, I read various modules and set any that said EDC to inactive. I found that easier than having to recode my changes.
Unplugged the module and all warning lights were no more. Did the same thing for TPMS (RDC) removal also. |
