I'm not sure if that illegal in other states, but thats definitely illegal in California.

They are legal. I have them. Along as the brake light and blinker can be seen when applied. Look at the rolling shot. Clearly seen. The e92 e93 are different part # and will not fit. Vert has different trunk. Love the look
