Not possible because with only a 16.1 gallon gas tank, at that mpg you could only go 286 miles. So either you have the only 19.6 gallon tank, or really average 28.8 mpg.

240, if I cruise around in granny mode. I've squeezed out 300 on the highway, with quite a bit of hypermiling.

My Calgarian brother, I'm sorry to call you out but BS! Especially with the hills in Calgary, there is no way you can get that!

Yep all these high mpg statuses are either wishful thinking or granny moding. I average 10-11 city and 19 hwy and get around 210 miles per tank. 250 if i go EXTRA granny mode ha.

Everyones MPG seems to be much better then mine as mine shows only 8.9 so i wondered if there could be something wrong. I take care of the car so no aggressive driving of any kind.

Seriously? Who really cares? I was fully aware of this bad-ass beast's fuel consumption prior to purchase, and didn't give two shits about it. I will say that I drive my car like I stole it, and I still avg 14.4 mpg. I keep messing with it to see if it changes, but she remains relatively constant at the 14 range, so perhaps I'm not pushing her enough? Oh my!

Mine says something similar after I fill up as well. However, if you actually track the miles you drive between fillups you will find its nowhere near that. 360 miles/15 gallons is 24mpg. The car's sticker only says 20mpg highway which is even optimistic lol

Tank is 16.6 gallons. I do try to average 22-23mpg during weekdays (commute to and from work). My daily round trip is almost 70 miles, I hit quarter tank warning on day 4 trip home and do have enough gas to make it to work and back on day 5, but running on vapors at that point. It's around 360 for me. Picture was taken on highway 10 miles after fill-up, MPG counter wasn't reset in weeks, so I think the range is calculated on average driving over few weeks, but please do correct me if I am wrong.

Also, I track my fill-ups with pen and paper and find the mileage the trip computer reports to be very optimistic.

I'm not saying that 360 miles/tank is impossible. I think that you can do it if you do a lot of highway driving at ~60 MPH. It would mean you're getting about 22.5 MPG and you'd be running the tank very low (not good for in-tank fuel pumps) and not driving the M3 in a way that justifies that fabulous V8.

For the record, I'm not saying that nvladik can't do it, but if he is consistently getting >22 MPG in his e9x M3 I would recommend he trade it on a 328i and save himself even more fuel.
