I got pulled the first day I bought my car from MD for this. I bought the corvette license plate braket since it uses 3M adhesive and was using that for awhile. I took the front plate off 3 months ago and havent had a problem since. It sits in the trunk if I ever run into issues

I've noticed they're really enforcing this as of late. I haven't had a plate on any of my cars stemming back to my 2001 328ci. Perhaps there's just too much free money out there in these frivolous tickets. In theory, they are secondary offenses right? Rarely have I gotten one while driving, more so the Alexandria Parking Enforcement jerks that write me up since I park on the street.
But Kmarei's method/excuse seems to be pretty damn good... may have to steal that one.

make sure you always have the updates registration sticker and make sure the number plate looks dirty you don't want to whip out a brand spankin' new number plate to show the officer a few dead bugs won't hurt either, gives it an authentic look |

Alexandria parking fatso is who's been giving me the business. I opted for the Skene design instead of the tow hook bracket. Both look terrible to me but better than a ticket on my windshield.

I have seen her but I think her colleague, a round man, who also has one of those carts, got me. Not to steroetype, but I always see her eating when she is in that cart, not sure if its doughnuts, but certainly maintaining her caloric intake.

When I bought my M3 I asked the dealer not to put a plate on the car and they said we can't let the car leave the dealership without both mounted plates! What the hell..

I guess the tow-hook adapter is one solution, but pleeeeeze don't do the plastic chinese handcuffs and attach the front plate in bottom area of the bumper. It looks so ghetto...
Just one man's opinion
