NO ONE has ever mentioned there's drone. I'm really interested in which system you heard. There was also a mention that someone had to bring the car in to have the exhaust adjusted since it moved after it heats up.

I really wish people would be honest about these mods on this board. The member seem to be in bed with the sellers a lot here. This is not directed at doba in any way.

doba, car looks sweet. What ramps are you using and are you lowered?
I have the slip on too and have sensed no drone. I mean there is a deep sound in the lower RPM range when you hit the gas hard, that some may construe as “drone” but it really isn’t bothersome or too heavy. If anything this exhaust may be too tame for some.

And about the in bed with vendors comment, you are 110% spot on in certain instances. The Akra though seems to be pushed by about every dealer here and is one of the pricier exhausts so I think you are safe when it comes to unbiased review/opinions on it. Universally it seems that everyone agrees that the quality of this exhaust is literally second to none, and though it come with a high price point, is worth the money.

I got engaged and my fiance told me not to get anything loud so she can drive the car. Yesterday she told me that she can't even see the difference while driving normal ... But when you step on it, you can hear very nice and deep sound.

I used regular ramps from Kragen which were around $35. The car is lowered on Dinan springs.
Thanks for th follow-up. Going to Kragen for those ramps. I like how they're pretty low profile.

You can adjust the tips yourself if you feel the need. There is no reason to bring the car in again. Mines got 600 miles on it now and fits just like it did the first day.
Cash, do you have the axle back or the full system? I understand it's all relative, like doba going from an Eisen race to the Akra is HUGE difference in sound.

I have the full system. I went from Meisterschaft GT2 to Remus Sport to stock and now to Akra. Akra is *almost* as quiet as stock inside the cabin. All the other systems I had droned like crazy.

nice looking exhaust, does it conceal as well behind the diffuser as Remus?

i would love some exhaust options with only double exhaust pipes, not quad, similar to the AC Schnitzer stuff.

Welcome to the club!

I've had many sports cars, but I must say this M3 revving to 8400 rpms with the Akrapovich full exhaust is the best sounding car I've owned!

Untie your ovaries dude!! I have the full system and it does not drone! Check your ears.

+1. I installed the Akra full system this week and haven't noticed drone yet. It's definitely a bit louder than stock, but not too loud. The techs fitting it were blown away by the quality and light weight "it's the best system we've ever seen." A guy driving a Porsche Panamera Turbo (damn ugly car IMO) even came over and drooled over it. All I need now is the CF tips
