Ashy to Classy (K-Dubs, HREs, Brembos)

Below are a few photos of some mods that IND hooked me up with this week (KWV3s, HREs, BBK, ESS tune and challenge x-pipe). While their reputation certainly precedes them, I saw first hand what their customers on the forum talk about with respect to their expertise and customer service. Their relationships with their vendors proved their worth when it came to switching out of the P40s that I had originally ordered (they were finished and ready to be shipped from HRE right when the new P40S wheels were released at SEMA). Ilia made a few phone calls and finagled HRE to scrap my order and get me the new version. You really have to see these in person to appreciate the complexity / nuances of the design; the beauty is in the details.

Big thanks to Ilia and Anthony at IND for their patience and help – honest and hard-working guys.

Below are some quick photos that I took in my driveway. Will try to get some better pictures when I have a chance.

Next up is some brake ducts for the track season. Go Bears.

I love those rims.

From personal experience, Nate and Ilia are top notch.

I would be interested in wheel specs as well.

Those are some pretty wheels indeed! Didn't know they would differ much from the regular P40 but the small differences are pretty apparent. Here's a comparo with the standard P40.... mine are 20" tho while yours are 19".

Looks great . Keep us posted on how you like the Conti Extreme Contact DW's. One of the tires I'm considering for my summer set up.

Wow great setup. Not sure if it's the combo with the BBK, but I much prefer the new p40s.

Not sure what exactly the difference is, but the P40 looks more like a regular BBS wheel in comparison.

thanks for the comments guys! here's a pic I took on my BB that shows the difference in the wheel spoke design a little better.

They don't have the same concavity as the old P40's. The spokes have more of a kinked concavity shape to them and then the cup around the lugs. You can only really see it when viewed from the side.

also, for those who inquired, the wheel specs are:

F: 19x9.5 ET22
R: 19x10.5 ET22

happy to post my impressions, but you'll have to be patient. I'm putting my winter tires back on tomorrow, so I won't be able to post any meaningful thoughts until the spring. from what I've read and the 100 miles I've put on them, they seem to be a close competitor to the PS2 at 2/3 the cost. slightly more comfortable than PS2's, but slightly less steering response. slightly better in the wet, but slightly less dry grip.

Wonderful

I see the difference for sure. Even the edges of the spokes differ...the windows of the spokes from the new design reminds me of the RACs
