Discounts on Porsches
Hi to everyone,
I was wondering how much of a discount someone could get on a new porsche. I have heard that they can go down quite a lot. For example, for a 90k 911?? |

They will deal on 08 911's here. Not sure about the re-designed, barely, 09's. The GTS Ute is getting huge discounts here.
Search for the car/options you want find the invoice and use that as a spring board. P's have one heck of a margin on them. If you are serious about a deal just go in and make them an offer. They may let you walk. Leave your # with them.....they will call you w/i a week.

Prices on 2-3 yr old 997s with a CPO are getting way down there. I'd wait still to see what happens in a few months, imho.
A new MY09 still won't carry the kind of a big discount you probably hope for. Plus you will be the one to get hit as prices on used ones sink even lower. If you want a 997, I think you'd be better off to get a low mileage 2-3 year old one with a full CPO from the dealer. There are a lot of them out there now and prices are going way down. I just replaced my 1997 993 C2S with a 1996 993 C4S. I was beginning to add on the miles and someone I knew gave me a good offer. And I had my eye on the C4S for a while. I was shocked that my 993s are just about the same price as a 2-3 yr old 997 C2S with a factory CPO. Personally, I'd think twice about a new 997 unless you plan to lease (and get a great deal) or keep it forever. I was really tempted to go for a late model used CPO 997 C2S/C4S but damn, their value is really plummeting. |

^While browsing and saving the black car above I ran across an 06 C4S with 20K miles for 53K.
One of the best looking rear ends in the auto world IMO.

Wild isn't it? I just sold a 12 year-old 993 C2S with 41k miles for only 4k less than that 3 year-old 997. Lots of 997s are out there and coming off leases. A lot of people aren't buying them at the end of lease or getting any new car leases. With the glut showing up now, the prices are pretty amazing compared to just a year ago. |
