Ah, there you are!

Last night, you said that your supercharger was at 5psi (I think?) and you were saying how somebody else (I forget who) was running theirs at 7psi? That seems relatively low compared to how turbos can be at 13-14psi (à la jb4). Are superchargers just not designed to be running at a high psi like that or can it be done?

it can be done... just change to a smaller pully. with the supercharger, we don't need as much boost to make power i guess. here's a link to drew's recent dyno link.. making crazy amounts of power at what i consider relatively low boost. if money permitted i would build a low compression motor and turn the boost up for sure but that's just not realistic for me

honestly i'm more of a turbo guy cause i came from an evo 8 and my honda background i dealt with turbos also.

That's a lot of power...

I prefer the idea of a supercharger, personally. They just have that "coolness" factor to them.

Here's an idea. If you like turbos, lets trade cars!

a supercharge is pretty much running at all times right? vs a turbo which will only kick in at a certain rpm/throttle (hence why we have turbo lag)

adam, i texted you

something like that... supecharger uses charger air direct from atmosphere or through air filter.

turbo on the other hand uses spent exhaust gases to spin the turbine therefore causing turbo-lag.
