I got to sit in the Veyron par Hermes last year in NYC when it was first presented to the US public. Now THAT was a rush I won't ever forget. It helped that the German Veyron project manager from VW was there and I ended up befriending him.

I think I have pictures somewhere, too.

I think its very rare i've only seen 2 and they were both at car shows on separate occasions. I've never seen one on the road or at a dealer.

I love this car but find it pointless to own in the USA since most highways have speed limits of 65 mph. you wouldn't be able to take advantage of the 200 + mph

I'm sure a Veyron could hit 200 in a few places on the 73. I know I've been "over the speed limit" on my motorcycle there...

It is rare, I went to VW headquarters in Herndon, VA and they only have 1 Veyron.

You guys are nuts! The Veyron is beautiful in a function-over-form sort of way. You have to shape a car that can go 256 mph a certain way....

Here's my 993 getting the bumperettes and front plate holes deleted and euro corners installed at Avio Piombetti's body shop.
