Well, we got tacos...at least that shows we played D, granted it's the junk Knicks..but WTF is with the 2nd unit!?!?!? Almost lost all the lead and Kobe had to re-enter the game...and these guys' been with each other last year! Oh, Farmar's gotta be one of the worst NBA players ever...Lakers need to send his ass outta town, quick!

I don't consider it extreme fannism. I'm a realist but at the same time I realize it's a marathon not a sprint. Mess ups in the first few months of the season don't really bother me. For the most part, the regular season itself doesn't really bother me.

If you see how Phil Jackson coaches, he tries many different line-ups during the regular season that can result in a loss, "unnecessary" close game, etc.. He wants his players, all of them, from the starters to the bench to experience adversity in the regular season so they know how to deal with it when the post season arrives. You never know if a bench guy has to fill in a critical role during the post season so Phil uses the regular season as a tool to prep his guys on how to play.

Big picture > 1 game.

Last year I remember we had a road trip against Cleveland, and Boston going 6-0 (without Bynum).

The Lakers won on back to back nights where Boston had a 12 game winning streak + the best record in the NBA and Cleveland was undefeated at home.

no, he's trying harder after getting married, he has a bitch to impress with $83 mil prenup. i dont think it has anything to do with brown's. while i loved the great stuff brown was bringing to the table it is very unfortunate that our bench, including brown, often lack the balls to drive the ball in when they are faced with a real opponent. i watched the heat game and realized they dont have the balls unless it's a team like the thunders or Kobe establish MAJOR dominance that makes the bench feel a bit more "safe" to do cool stuff.

one thing i also noticed, sorry oc335, but Gasol lackes major balls. for a 7 foot dude he definitely has a huge 8" vagina that hangs as loose as a wizard's sleeve (thanks borate for the metaphor). When gasol came back to playing he pretty much made defeating the lakers impossible (excuse the term here). he's been scoring and what not, but watching him is like watching a toyota camry go around laguna seca! so boring and puts u right to sleep. he's making bynum look 10x better lol he still promises to get tough

Their pussyness kind of reflects their fear towards kobe. I don't think phil will bitch at them too much for being inconsistent due to some heroic drives and plays. I think they're just scared of kobe yelling at them if anything goes wrong...

2. nash is annoying for 2 reasons: a. he's ugly b. he makes every 3 pointer shot when i play nba live on xbox. it's really annoying
