May sound dumb and I realize you're taking your car to the track, but is the car fully warmed up and at operating temps?

I find that have just turned on the car, I can't launch. The car needs to warm up.

If you are talking about a pre-stage burnout......it ain't gonna happen without some tuning and coding..............Phil

My car only rolls forward in launch control mode if there's a slope

Best way to do a burnout is to switch off DSC (not in launch mode), and floor it. The M will wait until the engine winds up a few k to dump the clutch.

Cheers

This. OP. Putting it in LC mode is not a "brake" mode. If done on an incline you will roll.

I've inched forward in launch control before when pressing on the gas, but not all the time. How significant is your roll? Do you think the ground is level?

Isn't the whole point of launch control NOT to burn out?
