Any recommendations to get battery replaced in NoVa?
I haven't been able to get anyone from BMW of Fairfax or Sterling on phone to even get estimates. RRT wants $350 (for OEM battery + registration) which sounds pretty reasonable. I'm thinking of just going with them since they are no-nonsense and quick.
Any other recs in area? |

For comparison, I went to Russel BMW, suburb of baltimore, a month ago for a battery quote. I have an 08 M3. I still have the original battery. He said the battery was discontinued and replaced by a higher capacity battery after the 2010 model. The new battery would cost me $350 and they would charge $150 on top of that for coding. I politely laughed and said he was funny and walk away.

Edit: Just kidding, the recall doesn't apply to M3's
Isn't there a recall on our batteries? Or maybe it was the older models around 08
