How do I get rid of that negative sign in front of the track number, circled in red?

Is there any way to let BMW know to fix this? Confused the heck out of me, I thought it was measuring the signal strength like -85 dBm.

What's the issue? Nothing is wrong with anything.

The skip button on the steering wheel is backwards (to me) as well. Down should be back, and up should be skip forward.

I agree. Drove me crazy when I first realized it. Completely opposite of the other cars I have.

You are at -85 tracks of a total of 88 in the stack.

Blame some German engineer that assumed -making an ass of you and him- that you knew what a stack was.

A stack is a LIFO data structure. This is a queue which is FIFO. First song in is the one that gets played.

Actually, it seems to me that in this particular implementation the stack is in the sense of being one song on top of the other and the top starts at -1. Thus 3 songs from the bottom up is labeled -85.

Why is that? Perhaps just to piss people off.

Because there is direct access to any song, LIFO or FIFO does not apply here.

What year is your car? On my '12, down button is "Track Next", up button is "Track Previous". Totally ass-backwards.

If you think of it in terms of a list of tracks, the current implementation of the up/down arrows makes sense.

The negative sign makes no sense -- particularly if this only happens in BT streaming mode.
