Parts Pricing: BMW Fairfax online vs BMW Silver Spring (Tischer/getbmwparts.com)
Hey guys, just a public service annoucement, and I just found out recently:
It appears as of today, BMW of Fairfax (FFX) online parts order is cheaper than Tischer/Silver Spring's online equivalent. So for those who live in NoVA, this, coupled with FREE pickup option makes FFX the logical choice for your next order. Of course, one should always spend 5 mins to price it out with each dealer on their respective sites, but at least with my recently searched maintenance and accessory items, it's been about 5%-10% cheaper. Note, I'm not sure how the BMWCCA discount factor into online orders at FFX, and FFX charges taxes. Fairfax: http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...?siteid=214697 GetBMWParts/Tischer/SilverSpring: http://www.getbmwparts.com/ So, I'm not trying to start a fight here, as I'm aware Tischer is a forum vendor, I have given a lot of business (about $500-$600 worth of orders) to Tischer in the past b/c of their competitive pricing (vs nationwide and local dealer walk-up pricing), and Jason has always always been very helpful in confirming part numbers, orders, and returns. This is just as I had said, a PSA to inform my fellow VA owners. Last edited by mdosu; 06-12-2013 at 02:46 PM.. |

Thanks for this
This confirms what a SA there told me in that BMW of FFX is trying to become more competitive, cost wise, with others in the area.

First person I've seen with a positive experience at FFX. I'm glad you did. I found them to be the worst back in '08. Maybe, it has changed.
