New Moton toys on the way...

Similar in difference between TCK street stuff and the $5k Koni Challenge dampers. The more R&D and more technology put in, the more they cost.

In this case, I think you are paying for the range of ability - the Moton I think fully covers normal street use without being harsh and I am very happy with the same setup with the knobs adjusted for full hard track use, and I am not typically that easy to please. I also think the high-speed blow-off on the Moton is quite impressive.

Just finished Road Atlanta and VIR with the car. Very happy with the setup and street manners are very nice. I have an E46 and E36 that are both kind of retired for the most part because they are pesky to drive on the street. The E92 is on par in capability on the track, but not rough at all on the street - would be a shame to mess up what I think is an awesome street car.

E46 - that is probably the next step for these, but no timeline.

Damn James - you getting old?

E36/E46 too pesky (I read stiff) for street use? Have to agree this car is the perfect street car and I'm sure your setup makes it a much better track car too.

James, what kind of lap times did you get on VIR full with your setup? How did this compare to the E46

I didn't do lap times. I only had about 45 min in the dry. The power is better than the 46, so the laptimes are faster. Without aero and at those speeds, they are both a pretty wild ride there.

If you aren't using adjustable camber plates, what strut tops are you using with these? Do they come with some or did you swap over the parts from the stock suspension?

They are made to work with stock front upper strut guides. That is one of the items that minimizes harshness. If you prefer to use camber plates, they swap directly in.

A few weeks out I think. I have 10 sets coming initially. You can call us to order and ask to have a card put in but not authorized (or send a check) so you don't pay until arrival. Online orders are authorized automatically.

Dampers should be finished this week, new springs here (Moton) early next week, then they ship to us, so soon!

All kits will be complete. Camber plates can be added, but are not an included piece. At some point, I would probably want adjustable sways on the car, but it is really ready to rock as-is.

We will be using a Ground Control plate for race applications. Otherwise, I fully intend to keep our car on the stock front guides - the kit works as-is and I am not willing to sacrifice for a little noise plates will add.
