wow. That is pretty much perfect as far as I can see. Darker than a silver but matt finish shows the creases. Wish more matt finishes were offered these days - you only seem to be seeing them in 1-offs or show cars. Incredible. I have a SG on order but would have chosen this. Probably not for 5k though. Too rich for me.

I wonder what its like to care for?

matt colors are the most retarded option in the world. I am assuming you have never seen a matt color outside an autoshow? Bugs, roadgrim and finger prints just jump off matt colors. You can see the imperfections from 20 feet. And how about longterm reliability? i have seen a lamborghini with a matt finish with a thousand miles on it and it looked 5 years old. neat showcar option but nothing more.

I wouldn't doubt this to be true but it still looks awesome.

The only OEM matte finish I've had any experience with is on a honda 919. The tank came in a matte black and IIRC a matte gray. I do know on that particular bike honda had a warning to not wax it.

Humm, I think I found the inspiration for that interior.

If I wear that, and I drive that car, there is no way I can't get laid at Comic Con 2010!!!!

Matte finishes are just another short-term fad. I can't, for the life of me, understand why anyone would order a new car with a dull finish.

I do agree it is "sick."

Love that color! I'm a big fan of matte colors, esp matte black and this matte gray. The first thing that came to my mind when I saw the M6 was what that color would look like on a E9X M3. Can anyone Photoshop it on an E92 M3?

I think you should go for it!

Individual colors are just that, for the individual. It should turn out sweet! Just make sure to take care of that limited edition M3.

Oh and that M6 interior is absolutely stunning!
