Question Beep, Beep , Beeeep

I have a beep in the car that goes off every one in a while. Nothing is wrong with the car and the iDrive doesn't show any errors.

The sound comes from where the headlight switch is.

Any clue?

Fuel warning is not a beeping sound, it's more of a chime.

Differential diagnosis:
- Low fuel: no, because it sounds with a full tank and the low fuel alarm is a chime that also let's you know in the display panel.
- Tº below 37º? impossible. We have had 50's which is much less than the normal Tº, specially in summer.
- PDC? .... funny
- Carbon monoxide: ok... this is interesting. The manual doesn't say anything. More comments?
- Hour: seems that this is the case. Weird, because I don't remember been playing with the iDrive. Will let you know.

Thanks to all.

Oh my god. My car is doing the same thing. Very annoying. I'll say this. Not the 37 deg warning. Not low fuel. Possibly hour chime, but why did it wait until I got 23000 miles for me to start noticing it. Maybe the dealer changed some setting to make it do this as I just had it in for service.

I just looked in my iDrive and someone turned on the "hour memo" in the car's iDrive. Hopefully that will fix it.

CHECK YOUR "LIMIT SPEED SETTER" If you accidentally set your speed limit tone, it'll do that. Vehicle settings page and scroll done.

This will be it if you certainly hit a certain speed then the car beeps...might just be it.
