Yellow grease from factory

I did a search but does anyone know how/what to use to remove the yellow grease that gets hot and drips down everywhere?

Thx

Hi,
I think that it is cosmoline, the shipping protectant. On my 128i, which is a year old now, it drips down the rocker panel at the same place on both sides. I use a mild polish (Mazerna final finish) on a microfiber towel. Regular cleaner doesn't seem to remove it readily.
Cheers,
Andrew

get a solvent for removal, then re-wash, then polish/wax - goo gone, tarminator, bug and tar remover - DONT get the meguiars body solvent...its flat out sucks!

Grease is one thing and cosmoline is another. For either "Stoners" Tarminator works awesome.....Just be sure to wax or seal after you remove the contaminant!

Is there any way to prevent this crud from dripping down? Every time it rains heavy I get yellow stains at the bottom of the doors.

I removed it all from my M3 and wife's MINI Cooper.....if you are talking about cosmoline

Get one of the hand held steamers, steam directly on to cosmoline and brush it away (I used one of my swissvax brushes)

Steam is what you are looking for..... I did not use any other products.
