kind of sounds like a load of crap. from what i've read, UK is not getting the new M3 until november. germany gets it in the middle of september, right after the franfurkt show (according Jeremy Walton, Roundel).

Everything's fine and no need to call BS...
UK M3 launch is indeed Sept 8th (just like some other european countries), Germany launch is a week later on Sept 15th. Anyway I don't know why "our" launch takes place later than the UK's. Maybe it has to do with the Frankfurt Show, which starts officially Sept. 13th; Frankfurt is the first official appearance of the M3 in Germany. All these cars we're talking about are HEA (dealer cars), most of dealers do use their HEA cars to sell them to the first customers. Theses HEA cars have been delivered to the UK dealers in the last weeks. Interesting is that the german HEA cars will arrive only a week before Sept. 15th, not two or three like it was in the U.K. First real customer cars (not dealer cars specced according to customer's wishes) arrive no sooner than the end of September, assuming there's no delay... @M3junkie Congrats! We want to see tons of pics ASAP! Best regards, south |

I would never figure Munich would ever let their prize performer be launched outside of Germany. Is the U.K. that significant of a market? And of course, if BMW can do this, then why can't we get some form of Individual? |
