And one of the guys from BMW said: " He can't push that throttle so hard at the presentation, we manly want to present the blutec cars at geneva, and not how to waist petrol. But that doesn't intrest the driver. So we had luck. :rocks: The 9 month will be hard, yesterday I went to my Audi dealer and told him to cancel my order for the RS 4, he wasn't lucky about that. But after watching the video again I was sure that I should wait for that great M3. |

I didn't get to read all the posts, so sorry if someone already asked this, but does it look like a full leather package will be an option? From the interior shots it looks like their is leather stitching on the center console next to the shitfer. Not sure I would get it, but it would be nice to have the option.

BTW, per what BMW insiders say, it was a hybrid version shown at Geneva. Something between regular and CSL. |

I could not believe how cheap the pebble grain stuff looked on the upper dash of an Z 4 M Coupe I checked out recently. Does the E92 use the same material?

Some info from great Scott:

@ Geneva 2004 we had two M5's available one for Herr Stuck to drive onto the stage as Herr Priaulx did with the M3 and one which was on display on a plinth. Again the drivable one was kept behind closed doors as was two examples of the about-to-be announced BMW 1er. And a example of the upcoming E90. We did not debut the production car for three reasons A : The car is still in the final stages of development and B: The timeframe which we have allocated from Concept car to international launch fits in well with our requirements. And C: Our Product roadmap called for updates to two key European models the 5er and 1er so these had priority over everything else. The Frankfurt motor show is the most important motor show of 2007 and the M3 deserves a high profile launch. |

Then search user SteveD, Zod, Woms, Housemaster and a few others if you think we are one person. Sock puppet for feck sake, wind your neck in son, your making a cock of yourself! You might want to read through some of SteveD's posts too, see why most of us in the know take what he says with a load more weight than people like you who we no NOTHING about and who have NO track record over many years within the more 'grown up' motoring forums. Many of us have orders for E92 CSL's and E92 M3's sitting in our dealers, and have done so for over a year, just as we did for the E46 so rest assured we have been watching the world of M for years, not a few months. I am neither a troll or a person with all the answers, but I do get pissed like some of my fellow bm3w members when we see the blind leading the blind! Enjoy your forum, bm3w is back, and I suggest a few of our more open minded cousins may wish to take a look for a little more 'in depth' discussion rather than engaging with a few mass debaters. I wish your forum all the best, I really do |

Here's an article from EVO on SteveD's Z4 M coupe. His name appears on 2nd column 2nd line.
His post with pics on X5world.com when he sold his X5 4.8is and bought ML63 AMG recently He is also on Bimmerfest and several other boards. I have been reading SteveD's posts on several boards since 2003. I know he is real. SteveD's Z4 M coupe and M3 CSL. |

Okay BM3W guys, share your superior knowledge about the E92 M3 with the all the uninformed children on this board! There is no reason for us to speculate when we have true authorities on all things BMW in our presence! Thank god! For the standard model and the CSL please tell us: What is the weight? What is the HP/TQ? What is the redline? Will EDC be available? What differences will there be between the US and EU versions? What is the ring time? Thank you again for sharing your knowledge and insight! |

In answer to your questions. My educated guesses are Weight: Standard: 1590 kg CSL: 1490kg HP Standard: 420bhp CSL: 440bhp Redline Standard: 8250 CSL: 8250 EDC available Standard: Yes, there has been a mule spotted with it. CSL: Yes, see above Ring time: Sub 8 minutes for both. |

Very detailed series of pics. I just found the design of the rear too busy and seem like "tried too hard". Also, the mirrors will take some getting used to but I think it will look special when we see enough of them on the roads later.
