anyone else stuck "Awaiting Trasport"?
I have been anxiously following my car's production as I'm sure many of you have. But i have been at Awaiting Transport for so long (7+days now), anyone else stuck in this phase?

Yup. My car was finished on the 22nd. Most recent news (via the 800 automated information number) is that the vehicle made it to Bremerhaven and is awaiting ship loading...

It probably means that there are other cars in front of yours that is waiting for their turn to get on the boat...
Theres no way to know how many cars is in front of yours, just have to patiently wait...

Have your CA or BMWNA check. Sometimes takes a couple days to update online. My E46 M3 was about 10 days from end of production to ship departing. Depends a lot on your timing relative to a ship leaving.

Mine is also waiting transport. It has been for a week now. I called my sales rep here in Seattle, and he said it should change by the end of this week. Keeping my fingers crossed.

My car was loaded in Bremerhaven on Jan. 29. The ship is the Maersk Wind---due to arrive into Charleston, SC on February 12. I'm stoked but know it will sit in South Carolina for a little bit. I'm slotted for Performance Center Delivery--just don't have a date assigned yet...
I thought January was a tough month in terms of waiting for something to happen. February might be worse! |

My 335coupe is on the same boat as all of your guys cars and I had the same problem with the car sitting in awaiting transport for two weeks as my production was completed on the 15th. The general manager at my dealer called Germany and confirmed that the reason all of our cars sat for so long was because the ship that was supposed to transport them to the US was the same ship that recently had the problem and damaged all of those 1series and M3s that was recently posted on this forum and they had to wait for a different ship since the other one was tied up in all of the insurance claims. They should have resolved all of the delivery issues and ship should have left yesterday. My car is due into SC port on 2/16 according to computer but my CA told me it usually only takes 12 days and the computer could update some time next week
